MAIRI ROBERTSON
Director
Mairi is a Director at nmp with expertise in market & technology assessment, scenario modelling, foresighting, strategic planning and business plan development & due diligence.
She has broad expertise across the spectrum of digital media and creative industry sectors; including Games Based Learning, Digital Cinema, Mobile Content and Communications Technologies.
Prior to joining nmp she was with ITI Techmedia, a publicly funded Scotland-based Intermediary Technology Institute, that is investing £450 million over ten years to develop a range of pre-competitive technology platforms. At ITI she led activities to identify the areas of strong market need for innovative new technologies through targeted foresighting and subsequent commercial justification activities. She worked closely with commercial and academic organizations to discover and shape opportunities as well as assisting in developing the strategy for commercial exploitation.
Preceding her time at ITI Techmedia, Mairi was a Telecommunications Consultant with Analysys Consulting. Here she worked for a range of both public and private sector clients throughout the UK, Europe and Asia. She developed significant expertise in mobile pricing strategy, public sector broadband strategy, 3G business planning and due diligence.
Mairi has a PhD in Mathematics from Strathclyde University.
